The Right Tools for the Job

Bicycles are a great way to relax and enjoy the outdoors, exercise or commute to work. But an unexpected flat, or a broken chain can ruin all of that. Not much can stop a ride faster than being unprepared for a mid-ride repair. Whether you are maneuvering through difficult single track, in the midst of an early morning road ride or simply out on the trails with your family, there are a few tools that will keep you moving when your bike decides not to.

Here's a few tools that we recommend for your next ride:

Mountain Road Family
Hand pump
Tire Lever
Spare Tubes
Patchkit
Multi Tool
Chain Tool
Hand pump
Tire Lever
Spare Tubes
Patchkit
Multi Tool (4,5,6)

Tire Lever
Spare Tubes
Patchkit

Being stranded in the woods or along a lonesome country road miles from help should be enough encouragement to carry tools for any emergency. While some trail/road side repairs resort to the creative use of twigs, leaves and a nicely shaped rock, a good multi tool can leave you a lot less frustrated and back up and riding faster. When riding it's important to be prepared for everything from a broken chain or flat tire, to a twig through the derailleur.
